Healthy Active Lifestyles Week

Your school could explore yoga and mindfulness as part of Healthy Active Lifestyles Week.  See how you can create total silence in a room filled with children with one simple breathing game!  

There will be opportunities for the children to work independently, with a partner, or even as a whole group, to develop strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. 

If Healthy Active Lifestyles Week usually takes place during the spring/summer terms in your school, it would be an ideal opportunity for yoga take place outside where an appreciation of nature could also be explored.
